This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the-quotees.com or buy from us, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because we collect little.

We don't write customer personal data to our logs, and we do not sell your personal information. We don't use advertising trackers.
Cookies
We aim to use no non-essential cookies. Our analytics (Umami) is cookieless. Your cart may be kept in your browser's local storage so it persists between visits. Stripe's hosted checkout page may set its own cookies as needed for payments and fraud prevention. If we ever add non-essential cookies or trackers, we will ask for your consent first.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We share data with them only to run the shop. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
How long we keep it
- Order records (name, address, email, items, amounts): kept for 7 years for tax, accounting and dispute purposes.
- Support emails: up to 2 years.
- Analytics: aggregated and anonymous.
- Error logs: short term.
Your rights (US)
You can email us at harshal.quotees@gmail.com to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy,
- correct inaccurate information,
- delete your information (we may need to keep order records we're legally required to keep),
- opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we don't sell or share it for advertising), and
- stop marketing emails, if we ever send them (each includes an unsubscribe link).
We will respond within 45 days and won't treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
Our shop is for adults and teens buying with a parent's or guardian's permission; we don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Security
We use trusted providers, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited access. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Customer accounts (possible future feature)
We may add optional customer accounts later (for example, to view your order history, sign in by email link or Google). If we do, we'll update this policy first and explain any new data we collect. Today you can check out as a guest.
Where data is processed
Our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. We sell to US customers only.
